Instagram is a bodily function?

Social-Media

- Steph's thoughts

Scrolling is one of those things I don’t even have to think about anymore. It's like driving to work, I'm on auto pilot. Now I click that coloured camera icon and off I go on a scrolling, double tapping, stalking frenzy. 'What are people up to?', 'where did they go?', 'What are they wearing, eating and saying??'. I don't even know most of the people I look at, maybe 10 of them I would consider friends, the rest are celebrities, B grade bloggers and total randoms trying to be famous.

I know it's ridiculous. And I know it's taken over. But I cant stop. It's too automatic.

Is it a new addiction? Is it the equivalent of the 90's Heroin epidemic?
